Leading the creative for the first ever healthcare keynote on the world’s biggest tech stage within a newly hybrid CES experience meant we were journeying into unfamiliar territory at every step. But we knew we had such an important message to share. With powerful voices and an engaging presentation design, we more than delivered on setting a high bar for healthcare keynotes at CES, we stole the whole show.

From the celebrity appearances, presentation content, human stories and our big bag of tricks, our keynote was designed to deliver an overarching thematic—Human-Powered Health: Unlocking the Possibility of You—and be expressed within a custom-designed visual language.

Through emotional, authentic human stories and demonstrations of lives made possible by Abbott technologies, we showed that the convergence of health and technology is creating a future full of remarkable possibility for more people around the world than ever before.

The Powerful Opening

We knew that we needed to begin the show with a larger-than-life delivery to both raise the energy and set the tone for the next 55 minutes, and there is no one better than Morpheus—I mean, Laurence Fishburne. We produced a three screen theatrical performance that focused tightly on Laurence as he introduced the Abbott story.

A Vibrant Performance

Our custom-built Abbott@CES look dominated the screen content but was far from the only spectacle. We flanked the stage with two Volumetric LED Curtains, everyone in the audience wore an LED wristband that would illuminate in a variety of colors at key moments in the presentation, choreographed music and sound effects, and a concert-worthy lighting package made this a mesmerizing show.

Lingo Product Launch

The keynote also carried the responsibility of announcing the latest Abbott innovation to the world. Lingo, a biowearable device in a class of its own, allows people to track data around glucose, lactate, alcohol and keto. The whole keynote led up to this announcement. We needed to create a powerful moment about a device that is as small as a quarter but connects to an app that hosts a world of helpful information unique to you.
